With the new year comes more and more great new introductions. We’ve added two new bedding lines this week- the Loft Bedding Collection and Jiti Bedding. Last week, I did a post about my favorite modern sectionals- how useful they are and how they really bring a room together. I mentioned Knu the other day in my post about going green. There’s been a lot of eco-friendly furniture available lately, which I am happy to see, but I don’t think anyone else does it quite like Knu. Knu offers the perfect blend of natural and modern, in a collection where each piece is just perfect in my opinion.
The products speak for themselves, but here’s a little more info about Knu that just may make you appreciate them as much as I do. I love a good sectional. There’s always plenty of space and seating, and they always tend to tie a room together better than having multiple sofas or the standard sofa-loveseat combo. That being said, I’ve also seen some pretty horrid looking sectionals in my day, enough to make a girl stop considering their obvious advantages for a moment or two . Luckily, there are a lot of sectionals available today that effectively combine comfort with chic style. From the slightly contemporary to the ultra modern, these modern sectionals will have your home looking its best in no time.

So even though it’s not still light out when I leave work yet (which is the first sign summer is on its way in my opinion), I’m hopeful because it seems to be getting much closer. The use of chandeliers dates back to medieval times. At that time, they were actually constructed to accommodate a multitude of candles, which provided the source of light. While chandeliers today are wired for electricity and take on many non-traditional forms, they remain a popular style of lighting.
While the word chandelier remains the same and the light itself offers many of the same qualities, today’s assortment is vast and varied. This is likely due to the fact that since chandeliers no longer need to hold candles, they can now take on more creative forms.
