As you may know by now, this morning at 7:25 am, dear little Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, which means we’ll have another six weeks of Winter. With temperatures the last few days reaching almost 65 degrees where we are in northern New Jersey, it feels like Spring has already sprung!

But you never really know what the weather is going to be like, so why not prepare with items that work for both Winter and Spring? Start with a new set of modern bedding to brighten up your bedroom. We suggest going with a duvet cover, so you can switch out the inside comforter as the seasons change – go with a heavy, warm comforter during the Winter and then a lighter one for Spring and Summer.

You can’t go wrong with black and white. To add a pop of color, you can essentially add whatever colors your heart desires – because everything matches with black and white! (Except navy – anybody else agree with me that black and navy together is a major NO?!)

Black and white is very chic and modern and will likely enhance productivity because of its bright cleanliness. So here’s the map out of our moodboard above:

First, we have the sleek and comfortable Ergo Office Modern Black Mesh Executive Office Chair accompanied by the Jordan Desk. The office is lit by the Cabaret Floor Lamp to the left of the desk and the Zebra Base Lamp on top of the modern desk.
