Le Corbusier, the great Swiss architect, created some of the world's most recognized classic modern furniture designs. Many of his works were created over 70 years ago, yet remain timeless in appeal today. He worked with materials considered innovative and bold in his day, materials like steel and leather, allowing his products to be made for the masses at affordable prices. This was the first sofa ever designed with the frame exposed on the outside yet structurally holding all the cushions within it. Our reproductions salute the original designer.

QUALITY GUARANTEE

FULL LEATHER
Many low cost imports flooding into the market from China are using LEATHER MATCH (pvc vinyl) on the sides and backs. Ours are made with FULL ITALIAN LEATHER. We are unique in the business in that we offer many choices in leather because we specialize in leather furniture. Many of our competitors are office furniture factories now jumping on board. They rarely use Italian leathers, but instead use low quality split leathers, pig leathers, etc. Typically, they only offer black color due to their inability to control quality. Leather swatches are available from us.

SOUTH KOREAN STAINLESS STEEL:
We use no.304 stainless steel from South Korea. Our competitors use Chinese-made no. 304 or no. 202, which may corrode or rust over time. Also, the competitor's Chinese-made steel is inconsistent and cannot be polished to the same high luster as ours.

HIGH DENSITY FOAM:
We use premium 2.0 lbs. high density fire-rated foam. This ensures a longer life over our competitors' products.

CUSHIONS:
Cushions sit squarely on the frame. Many of our competitors will not align properly due to poor technique. Our seat cushions are boxed in a wood frame with inner Pirelli webbing and zig-zag spring system. You will have a hard time finding a more comfortable, long lasting or superior seating system than ours.

FRAME DESIGN:
Our products look good from all angles. We have middle support legs on our loveseats and sofas, too. Our competitors' products may look similar from the front, but the back and sides will have missing or badly bent legs and cross bars. Le Corbusier's original design lines are destroyed by these factories and sellers. Watch out for the 26" deep frames, as they do not give the proper seat support as Le Corbusier originally intended. The original is 29" deep as is ours.


Mies Van Der Rohe Collection  

 
 
Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's Bauhaus designs are among the world's most recognized of modern classic furniture. "Less is more" and "God is in the details" were defining statements made by the famous architect.

QUALITY GUARANTEE

1. Our frames use premium 12MM thick x 32MM wide South Korean solid stainless no. 304 flat bars, known globally for its superior springing ability, strength, polishing attributes, and resistance to corrosion. A flood of cheaper imports are using Chinese steel cast in molds with molten steel. Casting molten metal in a mold frame is a low cost production technique, which cannot match the strength and quality of the solid spring steel used in our frames and the $4000 originals. Imperfections from casting the molten metal result in the formation of pit holes during polishing and the hidden air pockets can lead to frame failure in the Chinese imports. Also, the Chinese steel frames have lower nickel content, which may lead to rust and corrosion. Often, these Chinese frames are made in thinner and skinnier dimensions, as low as 10MM x 30MM, which can lead to premature frame failure.

2. Our cushions use 2.0 lbs. high density fire-rated foam for superior longevity and performance over the low density foam found in competing products.

3. Our back cushion rise about 1" over the frame for a total height of approx. 31". Many of the low cost imports flooding market are out of proportion to the originals, and sit awkwardly as high as 34" in overall height. Our products are very close to the $4000 originals in appearance and quality when compared to the cheaper Chinese imports.

4. Our cushions are using premium Italian leather all over. Many of the cheaper imports use Chinese leather, misnamed as Italian. Additionally, other imports use "leather match" on the sides of the cushions, which looks and feels different than leather. "Leather match" is another name for pvc vinyl or pleather.

5. Our chairs use premium Italian leathers ranging from top grain to full grain. Light to no correction is used. In comparison, our competitors use highly corrected grain Chinese leathers. Chinese leathers tend to have a strong odor and the embossed fake grain is very uniform. Often times, our competitors will take a low grade split leathers and put a top grain pattern on it. These cheap Chinese split leathers will pull apart over time and fail. True lovers of quality leathers will know that quality leather has unique patterns and a mild odor.

6. Our cushions are attached with hidden buckles and straps. Most of the cheaper imports will have exposed buckles and straps, when viewed from the rear of the chair.

7. An over looked, yet critical, component of the chairs are the suspension straps. No factory in China can match the quality of our leather belt straps. Most of our competitors are using sub-standard strap material, which are inconsistently attached to the frame. Some of our competitors even use nylon, or leather-wrapped nylon, or other man-made materials for the straps. Our genuine leather and premium steel product will last longer and sit far more consistent than the lower cost imports.
